A real condo, not the the carpet covered thing.
A friend of mine has a condo that she wants to rent out. She pays $700 a month for it. I haven't seen it, but I think it's pretty schmancy. It's a 1-bedroom and is near Ackerman and Kenny. The condo place where it is located has nice paths and an outdoor heated pool. She used to live there until she got married. It's all been re-done and has hardwood floors.
Ok, here is the catch (or the perk, depending). There are 4 or 5 cats in the condo. If you are willing to feed them and clean their boxes (she will provide the food and litter, you just have to put it out), she will let you pay $500. That's $200 off for pouring food/water and scooping a box. A nice deal if you like cats.
These are cats that were abandoned on campus. She is working on placing them, but these are still left at this point. The cats range from friendly to timid. None are mean and none pee all over. The goal is to find homes for all of these cats, so if you are good at placing cats, then you can end up with an even better deal.
Anyone interested? Reply and I can put you in contact with her.
